Support for external keyboards and mice is still on the way for the Xbox One, says Xbox director Mike Ybarra. The Microsoft executive confirmed while speaking at PAX West that keyboard and mouse support are "definitely coming" to the console. He also acknowledged concerns about players with a keyboard/mouse setup having an unfair advantage.

We have to be very smart in how we do that. We'll leave it a lot up to developer choice. A lot of people tweet me and say, 'You can't do this because of fairness,' and we understand that. We run two platforms; the Windows platform and the Xbox platform.

Microsoft will work with developers to guide them towards optimal ways of including keyboard/mouse support in their games.
