Lyft has announced its largest expansion to date with service now extending into more than 50 new cities. The move is part of the transportation network company’s planned expansion for 2017 which saw service debut in 40 new markets just a month ago.

Jaime Raczka, head of Early Stage Markets and Expansion, said in a statement that in the first two months of 2017, they’ve introduced Lyft to 94 new cities. The executive added that they look forward to continuing their rapid momentum of bringing Lyft’s safe, affordable rides to even more cities later this year.

With a goal of entering 100 new cities this year and having already knocked out all but six, it should be smooth sailing from here.

In total, Lyft now operates in more than 300 cities across the country. That’s far fewer than the more than 560 cities Uber is in around the globe but they’re gaining ground fast.

The expansion and positive press couldn’t have come at a better time for Lyft, especially considering the fact that Uber is battling several issues of its own right now including an investigation into claims of sexism and sexual harassment and a lawsuit from Alphabet alleging theft of self-driving technology.
