Passive component firm Yageo has reported consolidated revenues of NT$2.63 billion (US$85.3 million) for January 2017, up 15.7% sequentially but down 3.4% on year.
Yageo indicated January sales to all regions increased on month. In terms of applications, January sales generated from the industrial product, EMS, telecom and computer segments increased while demand from the consumer electronics and distributor segments decreased compared to the previous month.
Yageo specializes in the manufacture of MLCCs and chip resistors.
Yageo saw its 2016 revenues increase 7.6% on year to NT$29.62 billion, and 2016 also marked the second consecutive year of record revenues.
