Digital Version Of Breath Of The Wild Uses Nearly Half Of The Switch's Storage

Installing the digital version of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will leave you with a fairly small amount of space for other Nintendo Switch content. The console comes with just 32 GB of flash memory and Zelda required 13.4 GB of storage space.

There are some options for getting around the storage limitation. You can opt to buy the physical version of the game instead or you can purchase a microSDHC/SDXC card to expand the storage up to 512 GB.

If you prefer digital titles, buying more storage will pretty much be a necessity.

It's possible (though not confirmed) that the Switch will support external USB hard drives as well.
