Why is Taiwan on the edge of the IT frontier? Taiwan is the region's main drive for economic production with the deep know-how of making high-value products. Not only on the forefront of supplying the world with international brands, Taiwan is also an innovator with its own labels in almost every product category conceivable.

Taiwan's brands have become synonymous with common household brands of laptops, LCD monitors, PDAs or other peripherals. The global production value of Taiwan's information hardware industry reached a stunning US$63.5 billion in 2004, an increase of 9.5% compared to 2003. In 2005, Taiwan is projecting global output of US$71 billion, a solid increase of 14.9%, mostly driven by Taiwan's leadership position in notebooks, motherboards, and FPD monitors. To see the latest and greatest in all these categories, and much, much more, make sure to mark your calendars for COMPUTEX TAIPEI 2005.
